Operating Room Liaison

Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick, GA (Onsite) Full-Time

As an Operating Room Liaison, you will provide front line support to the operating room through appropriate monitors and controls. You will play a vial role in coordinating operating room needs to the Central Sterile department. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with team members and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining case carts to support the operating room.
  • Facilitating turnovers throughout the day.
  • Communicating with SPD Leads any priorities or needs throughout the day.
  • Putting away all instrumentation.
  • Creating and monitoring the priority list for SPD.
  • Providing direct customer support for the operating room.
  • Conducting case cart audits.

Job Requirements:

What you will need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Central Service Tech Certification from International Association of Healthcare Central Service Manager Material Management (IAHCSMM) or equivalent accrediting body.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ central sterile, operating room or inventory control experience in a hospital setting.
