Job Requirements of Surgical Scheduler - Urology - Physician Practice:
What you will need:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- 1- 3 years secretarial experience required. Clerical experience in a medical or business office preferred.
- Computer literate, medical terminology, medical coding, ability to operate office equipment, scanner, calculator, fax, copier, telephone, credit card terminal, bookkeeping and filing.

As a Surgical Scheduler, you will provide a variety of clerical duties in support of the medical office and surgical services. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. For our team members, this is more than a career — it’s a calling.
You will be responsible for:
- Code, precert and post surgical cases with surgical services.
- Manages daily surgical schedule for each surgeon. Provides consistent communication between physician office and Surgical Services.
