As a Central Supply Tech, you will plan an integral role in Supply Chain Services within the Health System. You will be responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining proper inventory levels. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:

  • Inventory receipt, delivery, and restocking of par stations and issuing of emergency supplies to customers as required. Proper and timely filing of paperwork for all shipment.
  • Maintaining par areas: labeling, organization, rotation of stock, removal of supplies for credit, assessment of proper par levels and departmental product requirements.
  • Using hand-held computer to inventory par stations; downloading data at workstation, producing pick tickets/orders and lowest unit of measure deliveries that are processed and delivered to each departmental area.
  • Correctly receiving and verifying shipments from primary distributor, UPS, DHL, FedEx and other vendors. Delivers items to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the hospital’s U.S. mail is processed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards including Federal, State, local and Joint Commission.
  • Timely and accurately reviewing and replenishing all code carts and isolation carts ensuring all supplies are in date and rotated according to departmental policy and procedure.

Job Requirements:

What you will need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • 1 year of supply chain experience preferred
